New and Old Growth Drivers Transformation: Universities and Enterprises Collaborate for Development

On July 14, the Women’s Federation of Muping District, in collaboration with Yantai Vocational College and Yantai Zhonglian Industrial Co., Ltd., held the launch ceremony for the “New‑Old Kinetic Energy Conversion: University‑Enterprise Joint Development” initiative. The event was attended by 150 participants, including Liu Huiling, Vice President of Yantai Vocational College; Xing Ying, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Art Design and Public Administration at Yantai Vocational College; Sun Libing, Vice Chairman of the District CPPCC; representatives from Yantai Vocational College—faculty and students; all staff members of the District Women’s Federation; members of the District Women Entrepreneurs Association; employee representatives from Yantai Zhonglian Industrial Co., Ltd.; and employee representatives from Yantai Fuxinda Bimetallic Co., Ltd.

  In his address, Comrade Sun Libing, Vice Chairman of the District CPPCC, pointed out that this event was convened against the backdrop of the province-wide vigorous efforts to promote the transformation of old and new growth drivers. It represents a concrete step to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on entrepreneurship and innovation during his inspection tour of Shandong, and serves as a valuable initiative to advance women’s entrepreneurship and innovation in the new era while enhancing the service capabilities of the Women’s Federation.

Together, we will deepen collaboration between the college and the enterprise in student development and career success, women’s marriage, relationship, and family education, women’s empowerment, and the cultivation of a shared institutional culture, thereby fostering mutual growth and progress.

  Jiang Xuelian, President of Yantai Zhonglian Industrial Co., Ltd., stated that they will take this university–enterprise collaboration as a new starting point to accelerate the technological advancement and premium branding of home textile products. While maintaining their existing strengths, they will continue to identify new competitive advantages and driving forces for corporate growth, gradually realizing the goals set forth by Secretary Liu of the District Party Committee. Under the guidance of the District Women’s Federation, the company has announced the establishment of the Zhonglian Industrial Women’s Federation, a first among enterprises in our district that are predominantly staffed by women, marking a milestone. The newly formed federation will operate under the leadership of the Party branch, rallying unity and strength to drive development, serving women to promote social harmony, and fostering collaborative synergy across multiple fronts. It will guide female employees to heed the Party’s call and follow its lead, striving to make the Zhonglian Industrial Women’s Federation a model enterprise women’s federation that can be studied, observed, and replicated throughout the district and even the entire city. Against the backdrop of university–enterprise collaboration, the “Yishinong” Recitation Association has been established. By organizing a wide range of recitation‑related activities, the association seeks to continuously elevate the cultural sophistication of the enterprise, using the power of voice to express gratitude for the times, appreciation for life, reflection on the passage of time, and emotional resonance. It aims to inspire all employees to passionately contribute their voices and efforts to the company’s growth and to the flourishing of corporate culture.

During the event, the entire faculty and student body of Yantai Vocational College, together with the Women Entrepreneurs Association, presented recitation performances titled “Ode to the National Spirit” and “Reading China,” which not only conveyed their deep love for and sincere devotion to the motherland but also extended heartfelt blessings and support to the occasion. To conclude, all participants joined in a unified recitation of “The Wordless Sutra of the New‑Age Wise Woman”; their synchronized, resolute voices elevated the atmosphere to a thrilling climax.
