On the afternoon of April 9, Yantai Zhonglian Industrial Co., Ltd. welcomed leaders and experts from the Medical Device Supervision Department of the National Medical Products Administration, the State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as officials from provincial, municipal, and district levels, who visited the company’s mask‑production site to provide on‑site guidance.

Leaders and experts at all levels first heard a comprehensive briefing from the company’s General Manager, Ms. Jiang Xuelian, on the mask‑production project. They then conducted an on‑site inspection, providing thorough and meticulous guidance across each stage of the manufacturing process and offering several recommendations for improvement. They also learned that Zhonglian, as an internationally leading home‑textiles enterprise, had promptly responded to the call of the Party and the state at the beginning of the year, boldly shouldering its social responsibilities. Following the outbreak, the company swiftly adjusted its production schedule and promptly established a new medical‑device manufacturing task force, completing the necessary preparations in just two months. The 1780-square-meter, Class 100,000 cleanroom was designed and constructed, and ten medical-grade mask production lines have been established, obtaining registration and manufacturing licenses for both disposable medical masks and medical surgical masks. The company has also achieved ISO 13485:2016 certification for its medical device quality management system. Internationally, it has completed European Union notified body registration in Germany and obtained CE and FDA approvals.
